Watch: Foreman Keith makes a shock return to The Block to reunite with Foreman Dan for a very special surprise

Foreman Keith is a legend on The Block, but this year he stepped down from full-time duties to spend time with his family – leaving Foreman Dan to rule over the Island solo.

But in Sunday night's episode came the reunion we'd all been waiting for.

Watch the video above to see the moment Foreman Dan finally reunited with Foreman Keith after a weeks apart.

In an iconic moment, the pair ran in slow-motion before sharing a deep embrace with Dan shouting at his pal: "You left me!"

"It was a bit hard to do this one," Keith said, before asking an all-important question.

"How are these contestants treating you?"

After Dan gave his response, Foreman Keith put on his glasses and you guessed it... 'The Blockinator' returned, sunglasses and all.

Foreman Keith even returned for an epic birthday surprise for Grant, and you can see exactly what happened in the video below.

Keith decided to stand back from his full-time duties in 2024 after 16 seasons in order to spend more time with his daughters, Ebony, 14, and Jasmin, 11.

Keith, who lives in Melbourne, told 9Entertainment he wasn't able to commute to Phillip Island for the duration of filming. The popular seaside destination is located two hours from Melbourne and connected to the mainland via a bridge.

"I couldn't see a way of seeing my children more than once a week or something like that," Keith explained of his decision.

"I wouldn't have been able to commute from Melbourne, I would have to live down there. That was always going to be very hard and it just didn't feel it was the right thing to do at the time – I don't really want to spend three months without them."

But it wasn't an easy decision.

"I'm definitely going to miss it," he said. "It's basically been 20 per cent of my life."

He said he "loved" his time on the show and "it does feel a bit weird not doing The Block", but he has been kept busy by the launch of his business, Keith's Bathrooms and Renovations.

He also teased more to come, saying Keith's Building Inspections is "coming soon".

The Block continues Sunday at 7:00pm and Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
