'Boring': Leah dishes out scathing review of rivals' kids' bedrooms during Open For Inspections on The Block 2023

It's that time again... Open For Inspections! And this time The Block contestants take a peek at the two kids' bedrooms they each produced.

With Steph and Gian taking out the win with a perfect 30, the other teams were keen to see if they were deserving of the season-first score.

Leah questioned if Steph and Gian's neutral colour palette really fit the kids brief.

"Do I believe that our rooms are better? Yes," Leah stood firm.

"Happy for her [Steph], very bitter."

Everyone's eyes lit up as they walked into Leah and Ash's vibrant kids' bedrooms.

"This would be a kid's dream," Steph said of the performance area.

And while Eliza and Liberty were performing a dance of their own, Kristy and Brett were confused as to what purpose it served and wondered how adaptable the space was for buyers who didn't have kids of that age.

Kristy and Brett's first kids' bedroom received high praise, but the second left Leah speechless and not for the reason you'd hope.

"My mum said if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all," she said to cameras.

Unlike Leah, Eliza and Liberty did have words: "It's baffling that they [Kristy and Brett] scored so highly when it wasn't a kids' room."

Upon second thought, Leah did have something to say about Kristy and Brett's room labelling it "boring as bat s--t".

If there was one thing all the Blockheads could agree on it was that the judges got it wrong when it came to Kyle and Leslie's rooms.

They came in last after the judges said they'd "pigeon-holed" themselves with a basketball-themed room.

But the other teams thought the judges had been too harsh.

"That is such rough judging and it's actually really close-minded of the judges," Leah huffed.

"I just don't understand," Kristy shook her head.

"Having seen this I would've thought they [Kyle and Leslie] would've been up there with Steph and Gian," Eliza explained.
