'It's frustrating': Eliza and Liberty are shattered after judges' feedback following their moss wall reveal on The Block 2023

While most teams were beaming about the high scores from last Sunday's Room Reveals, Eliza and Liberty weren't quite so chipper.
The girls from House 5 tied equal last for their guest bathroom, but struggled to understand the feedback given.

"We really, really liked our room last week," Liberty told cameras. "So I think Marty's, again, [his] comments and scores made us a bit flat."
Eliza and Liberty worked on "secret weapon" for their bathroom last week – the great moss wall that was on everyone's mind.
"I can't get my head around it, I really can't," said judge Marty Fox, who later compared the wall to a wall of "parsley" that would be perfect to put in some soup.

"We're trying to keep our eye on the end goal," revealed Eliza. "I think that's really important because we feel good about the house we have."
"The tricky thing is just week on week, we sort of fall to the bottom of the pack and we are embarrassed on the feedback we get," she added.

As Open for Inspections began, the moss wall was again a talking point. But not for the reasons they had hoped.

The girls don't understand how they came last. Nine
The sisters had a lot to say about House 1 too, where Kyle and Leslie presented the smallest room in Block history.
"It's just not fair to be up against that and also come last because they're just not on the same playing field," said Eliza.
Speaking exclusively to 9Entertainment, Eliza and Liberty opened up about what it's like to receive the judges' feedback
"It's really hard to reset when you're constantly copping it from the judges, but there's no time to spare…. you have to power on!," said the sisters.
"We definitely absorbed what the judges said, but we also tried to stay true to our vision.
"So it was probably a 50/50 balance of their desires and ours going into the guest bathroom."
