Country singer Kirsty wows neighbours as she belts out Dolly Parton hit on The Block

Kirsty and Jesse have more work to do than any other team on The Block this year, after picking the biggest house in Bronte Court to renovate.

But it didn't stop the country singer taking a little bit of time out to show off her skills when her guitarist Dane popped by to drop off a guitar.

"You pair gonna serenade me while I insulate, are yas?" Jesse asked the pair as he continued working in the shell of their master bedroom.

"Want a Dolly song or what?" Kirsty replied.

"Always, Dolly's the best," Jesse said as he kept shoving insulation into the ceiling.

As she started to belt out a few lines of the Dolly Parton classic Jolene she stopped to laugh and said, "We've got an audience now."

Mitch and Mark walked in and they were blown away by Kirsty's talent.

"As a special treat tonight, we actually heard Kirsty singing, oh my God," Mitch said later in diary cam footage.

"It was so beautiful," Mark added.

Mitch continued, "The voice of an angel… it was just so beautiful, her playing the guitar and singing."

"While Jesse's putting insulation in," Mark said.

In the end Tanya and Vito also ended up watching, and they had one request for the singer. Tanya pleaded with Kirsty that when they win and have to host the Winners Are Grinners dinner, Kirsty gets her whole band for a performance.

It was a really lovely moment for us to see Kirsty's incredible skills and we're sure it won't be the last time we hear her sing on the show either.

She also shared the moment on their joint Instagram account and joked it was great to see the little concert didn't stop Jesse from working.
