Luke and Jasmin reveal how they plan to spend their massive Block prize money

Luke and Jasmin — who renovated House 4 — walked away with $506,000 following the sale of their house on auction day.

Speaking to 9Entertainment, The Block couple revealed how they were feeling during the nail-biting auction.

"We just didn't know where it was going to go but once we started seeing these huge numbers pop up it was like, this is going to go all the way here," Luke said.

"There was definitely that battle feeling between the two parties who were really interested," Jasmin said. "At that point I was feeling quietly confident that the numbers would get up because you could see how invested both of them were."

The couple were the first of the five auctions on the day, with their reserve price set at $3.35 million. The final selling price exceeded their expectations, falling under the hammer for an incredible $3.856 million.

"We came into this hoping to make $250,000 to $300,000. We've come away $506,000, and we are shocked," Luke said. "It's so good for it to be over because the suspense was actually killing us."

The couple also revealed their plans for the cash windfall, with a trip to the bank to pay off the mortgage on the cards.

For the rest of the money, the plan is to buy a caravan.

"We've got a lot of friends who have caravans and we can never go away with them because we don't have one," Jasmin said.

"Now we're going to buy the best one and beat them all," Luke added.

Luke and Jasmin stuck to their guns throughout the season, continuing their coastal them, curvaceous styling and design throughout.

Early on in the competition the couple was criticised by the judges for not doing enough to include the 1910s heritage detailing in their home.

But their decision clearly paid off and the couple appear to be thrilled with the result.
