MAFS' Melissa Rawson answers career question fans have been asking following family's Gold Coast move
MAFS' Melissa Rawson has answered the question she says she's been asked the most in recent weeks, sharing a career update following her recent move to the Gold Coast.
"My Instagram DMs have been abuzz with the same question: 'What are you doing for work on the Gold Coast?'' Liss shared in a post on her blog, Her Second Shift.

Liss, husband Bryce Ruthven and their three-year-old twins Levi and Tate relocated to Queensland from Melbourne in October.
She said that earlier in December, she began her new role as a Premium Service Host at The Star Gold Coast.
Liss explained: "While this position offers unique opportunities and challenges, it also feels like the perfect pivot from my career in state government."

"I'm enjoying the transition from road law to gaming, anti-money laundering, and financial legislation," she continued, adding that it felt "familiar" 10 years after working a hotel hospitality role in Banff, Canada.
"More casually, I work in the high-roller areas."
Liss said she was nervous about disclosing her reality TV past, but has found her colleagues to be "very supportive" and was so far really enjoying the job.

"My co-workers are wonderful and are like a global buffet of cultural insights, as we have people working here from all over the world," she wrote.
"The perks at The Star are fantastic, especially compared to my years in government, where the only benefit I received was a yearly flu shot.
"As for the guests? They've all been lovely so far, some more interesting than others… it's never a dull day!"

The couple share twin boys Levi and Tate. Nine
In October, Liss aired her frustrations of finding a job after being rejected from over 350 job applications, describing it as "a real kick in the teeth."
But now she appears to be in positive spirits after a stressful year.
