MAFS' Jade Pywell on why she never thought her marriage to Ridge Barredo would work out: 'I was determined'
Married At First Sight's Jade Pywell has given her honest perspective on how she doubted her relationship with Ridge Barredo would work early on.
While the pair are a happy couple now, the Season 11 bride revealed there were quite a few "hard" hurdles and milestones they needed to face first.

In a candid Q&A on Instagram, Jade opened up about her relationship with Ridge while sharing her thoughts on expanding their family and tying the knot.
As one fan asked who said 'I love you' first in the relationship, Jade confirmed it was Ridge, but there was a touching reason why.
"I was determined to not get feelings for anyone," Jade admitted about heading into the MAFS experiment. "So I was so up and down at the start."

It was during the experiment that Jade became convinced that their relationship wouldn't become as strong as it is now.
"Everyone had a lot more faith in us than we did in each other," she wrote.
"Ridge and I were both really against being in a serious relationship so we really kept telling ourselves it wasn't serious."
Looking back now, she added: "He's been really amazing and I really am lucky to have him."
One defining moment that could have made or broken their relationship was when Ridge met Jade's daughter V for the first time.

"Was is easy or hard for you to get Ridge to meet V?" one fan asked.
"So hard!" Jade replied. "Ridge and I argued after he met her because I felt like he didn't put in enough effort with her the first time.
"Obviously he was nervous and was in his own head about it all which made him pull back, but once we spoke about it, we took a few hours and then all went to Luna Park together, and it was a lot better," she said.
The three now live happily together on the Gold Coast.
Opening up about whether she would want more kids in future, Jade said this: "I would like two close in age".
Jade however admitted her and Ridge are "not yet" trying for kids of their own.
"I would like a ring before considering kiddies," she candidly replied.

Jade and Ridge met and fell in love during Season 11 of MAFS.
The pair moved in together after months of long distance following their MAFS Final Vows. Ridge has made the move from Sydney to Jade's hometown of the Gold Coast.
