MAFS' Jono McCullough and Ellie Dix take a huge step in their relationship as they celebrate their one-year anniversary
It's double celebration time for Married At First Sight's Ellie Dix and Jono McCullough!
The Season 11 stars, who were not matched on the series but began a relationship after Final Vows, celebrated their first anniversary on November 11 and also revealed some more major relationship news.

After a year of travel and staying with friends and family, they have purchased their first home together on the Gold Coast.
"What a year. You. MAFS. Trolls. Love. New friends. A lap around Australia. A yacht. Europe. A new business and now a new house," Jono celebrated in an Instagram tribute.
"There's been highs and lows. Laughter and tears. Elation and stress. But we made it. A year in the bag and here's to many more to come 🥂 ❤️ Love you my honeypie @elliedixoxo."

Ellie also reflected on their busy first year together, including their new business Model Skin.
"And finally, if that wasn't enough, SURPRISE we bought A HOUSE! Because nothing says 'I Love You' like getting into an eye watering amount of debt hahaha," she wrote.
"2024 isn't over, maybe we just finish the year off by getting a dog? Kidding… sort of.@jono.mccullough I love you.
"You really are one in a million. I love this life we are creating together."

Ellie and Jono's fellow MAFS participants shared plenty of support for the pair.
"Love you guys so much and how you have handled yourselves... You have grace and dignity and am proud to be your friend and a part of this beautiful little love story," Andrea Thompson wrote.

However, following the celebrations, Jono revealed that not all comments had been positive. In response, he shared a photo of a sweet note Ellie wrote for him.
"I was going to name and shame them but I am aware that hate doesn't stop hate," he wrote... more love seems like the right step," he wrote.

Ellie and Jono's relationship got off to a controversial start when they shocked their fellow experiment participants by turning up to the Season 11 reunion hand-in-hand.

During MAFS, Jono was matched with Lauren Dunn and Ellie was paired with Ben Walters.
However, those relationships did not work out and the pair began dating after Final Vows.
