Sara and Tim were sad to bid farewell to the experiment ahead of Final Vows.
"I'm feeling bittersweet to leave this apartment Sara and I have called home," Tim told cameras.
"Sara and I have a pretty deep connection now and it gets stronger and stronger each day... which has been really nice because we didn't have much fun at the start," he said.
The groom arrived to Final Vows in a sharp navy blue suit, paired with brown leather shoes and a crisp white shirt.
"I did come here with the hope of finding someone to spend the rest of my life with," Tim admitted ahead of Final Vows.
"I am starting to see potential in her."
But after having the chance to spend some time away from Sara, a last minute dilemma had Tim "wigging out"...
Tim couldn't ignore their turbulent past and began "second-guessing" their relationship.
"I have been thinking about the few ups and downs that we've shared together," he admitted.
"On one side, Sara and I are really good at the moment. On the other side, I didn't feel like she was treating me very well."
"She's betrayed me, so it's a tricky one," he revealed, feeling conflicted about it all.
The pair met at stunning Sydney Harbour, just moments away from where they tied the knot months prior when the experiment started.
As Tim waited nervously for Sara, one thing was on his mind: will he listen to his head, or his heart?
"I don't know what to do, I don't know where to go from here," he admitted.
"The major part of the experiment has been a bit of a train-wreck."
While reflecting on her time with Tim, Sara said: "I hoping this is the beginning of a new chapter.
"I look at him and I'm like, 'I see a future with you'.
"It is a scary thing for me because it's been a really long time since I've had that with someone."
"I realised what I wanted has been in front of me the whole time," said Sara.
"I hate that it took me a long time to see that, and I obviously regret all the things that I did to Tim."
Sara stepped out in a gorgeous high-neck white gown with a statement train and slip.
"I'm not a perfect person," Sara admitted.
"I know that I hurt Tim and I broke his trust. I feel awful about the way I have made him feel," she continued.
"I wish I could go back and do it all again but the right way."
"This decision is not a hard one for me and I hope he is feeling as secure about this decision as I am."
Sara's Final Vows:
"Tim, I remember driving to our wedding destination and feeling no nerves at all. My gut told me I was exactly where I needed to be.
"I remember seeing you smile as I walked down the aisle thinking 'he's so my type' and then you spoke Spanish which made any doubt in my mind disappear.
"We kissed and laughed like we were going to have the smoothest ride ever. I was pinching myself thinking, 'Damn, the experts really nailed this'.
