Exclusive: MAFS' Tori Adams reveals unusual arrangement with ex Jack Dunkley as she confirms future plans following their shock split

EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight's Tori Adams has revealed that she and ex Jack Dunkley are still living together following their shock split.

The couple confirmed their break-up in March 2025 almost two years after meeting on the series.

In an exclusive chat with 9Entertainment, Tori explained that as drama-filled as their relationship was on screens their break-up is "the most boring, normal thing ever".

Explaining the reason behind their split, Tori said: "We just kind of got to a point where we never took that next step of really falling deeply in love with one another."

"There was a lot of love there and a lot of care and respect, but it just never took that next progression," the 29-year-old continued.

"It's not a decision that we woke up one day and just decided to call it. We did work at it for a period of time and essentially we got to the result of we're just really great friends.

"That's as juicy as it gets."

Some might presume it's awkward to be living with an ex but that's not the case with Tori and Jack with the pair maintaining a strong friendship since the split.

"Nothing has changed other than obviously the intimate relationship. We're no longer boyfriend and girlfriend, that's literally the only change," Tori said.

"We still go to the gym together, we still hang out together."

While Tori moved from her home city of Melbourne to the Gold Coast to be with Jack long-term she confirmed that she will be heading back home.

"I just think in a situation like this, I'm ready to go home. I think I need to be around my people," she said.

Despite the start of a new chapter, Tori doesn't see herself and Jack not being in each other's lives noting they'll forever be bonded by their unique MAFS experience.

"We've gone through such a crazy experience together and at the end of the day, we have a great, close friendship. We have the same sense of humor. We enjoy each other's company. We share the same interests in things.

"I will always pester him about my training programs. You know, my ex boyfriend is still my PT," she laughed.

Tori predicted that she and Jack would be "lifelong friends".

"I don't know what it would have to take for us to distance ourselves from one another but I don't see that happening," she said.

"We'll support each other with with whatever we do moving forward."

Tori and Jack first broke news of their split in March 2025 in a joint statement shared to Instagram alongside a photo of their MAFS Final Vows.

"If you have been following our journey, you know we have always been authentic and true to ourselves. We have invited you in and brought you along for the wild ride," the statement began.

"However, today we come to you with heavy hearts. As of a few weeks ago we have decided to end our romantic relationship. We remain the best of friends and still care for and respect one another deeply."

Tori, 29, and Jack, 35, first met on Season 11 of Married At First Sight.

The pair hit it off at their wedding, but it's no secret that their relationship was far from perfect throughout the experiment.

Early on, Jack declared that there was no "sexual spark" between them, which caused their sex life to become one of the experiment's biggest talking points.

They also faced scrutiny from the other participants who did not believe their relationship was real.

Jack's words during the experiment about his co-stars – from the 'muzzle' comment, followed by a 'whale' comment – made him one of the most controversial grooms of the season, and many doubted their romance would last.

But despite it all, they stuck by each other and continued their relationship after Final Vows with Tori moving from Melbourne to the Gold Coast to be with Jack.

While things didn't work out in the end she couldn't help but look back fondly on her time with Jack.

"Jack and I have had a massive two years. It feels like we've been together for five and we've gone through 10 years worth of life experiences," she smiled.
