MAFS' Duncan James reveals how Harry Styles 'crashed' his and Evelyn Ellis' first date on Back To Reality podcast

Married At First Sight's Duncan James revealed that popstar Harry Styles "crashed" his and Evelyn Ellis' very first date.

Speaking on the Back To Reality podcast – hosted by MAFS' Al Perkins and Love Island's Taku Chimwaza – Duncan explained how his romantic first date with Evelyn was interrupted after they spotted the international star.

Duncan impressed Evelyn with a lavish boat cruise around the harbour.

"I've got my boat license and my mate owns a boat company which gives me access to lots of brand new boats," he began.

Duncan said that at the time he and Evelyn were trying to keep their relationship lowkey, so he sailed the boat to a "secluded spot" that he knew of.

"Then I took her around the other side just to show her a bit of a different landscape and then on the boat that pulled up next to us, that was about 20 metres away, was Harry Styles," Duncan said.

"He was sitting on his boat not far from ours, it was actually a smaller boat than the one we were on which was super weird.

"He probably had about 10 people on board and he just sat up the back really uninterested with everyone else."

Podcast hosts Al and Taku couldn't hide their surprise after they heard the story.

"What a first date!" Al exclaimed.

Since confirming their relationship in an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment, Duncan and Evelyn's relationship has been moving in leaps and bounds.

On the podcast, Duncan revealed that he and Evelyn are "definitely thinking" about moving in together in the future.

For the time being the pair only live half an hour away from one another and spend most of the work week at Evelyn's place while they spend the weekends at Duncan's beachside home.

After failing to find love with their on-screen partners Rupert Budgen and Alyssa Barmonde, the two Sydney-based stars admitted their feelings grew after the experiment.

Their relationship has been met with overwhelming support from fans, friends and even Evelyn's ex Rupert.
