MAFS' Duncan James and Evelyn Ellis share details of their first kiss during candid chat on Charlotte Crosby's podcast

Since becoming an item, Married At First Sight's Duncan James and Evelyn Ellis have captured the hearts of Australia. 

And they've now taken things even further, connecting with their UK fanbase when they spoke on Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby's Always On podcast this week.

During the candid chat, the loved-up couple shared the details of their very first kiss and explained just how their relationship developed.  

"It was a shut up and kiss me moment," Evelyn, 27, said of her and Duncan's first snog.

The influencer went on to explain that they shared their first kiss at the Sydney Mardi Gras festival.  

Duncan, 36, was there celebrating with his sister when he and Evelyn decided to meet up later that night.

"I thought, what better way to really impress Ev and some of her friends than with sparkles all over my face, a pink singlet and tight white shorts," Duncan joked.

The former MAFS groom admitted that since their first kiss "there's been a lot of time spent together".

"With Duncan and I, we kissed and I think we just never really left each other's side since," Evelyn added.

While Duncan said: "Spending a lot of time with Ev amongst all this craziness makes everything a lot calmer and a lot easier."

Host Charlotte Crosby was keen to know if the couple felt an initial attraction towards each other when they first met on the experiment while partnered with other participants. 

Both Duncan and Evelyn agreed that while they acknowledged each other as attractive people, they were too busy focusing on their separate relationships at the time to think of anyone else. 

"Obviously when he [Duncan] walked in, I thought 'Well he's alright,' but you're so engrossed in your own relationship you kind of have blinkers on," Evelyn said.  

"We see attractive people all the time so it takes more than just the aesthetic to really fall for someone. So it was really when we left and we hung out as friends that the connection really sparked between us." 

Evelyn and Duncan confirmed they were in a relationship earlier this year in an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment.

After failing to find love with their on-screen partners Rupert Budgen and Alyssa Barmonde, the two Sydney-based stars admitted their feelings grew after the experiment.

"All of a sudden we went out on a couple of nights, and some of the warm fuzzy feelings happened in my stomach and I thought, 'What's this? How we going here?'" Duncan said.

Their relationship has been met with overwhelming support from fans, friends and even Evelyn's ex Rupert.
