MAFS' Davina Rankin confirms shock split from husband Jaxon Manuel one year after tying the knot
Married At First Sight star Davina Rankin has confirmed she's split with her husband Jaxon Manuel one year after they tied the knot.
The reality star confirmed the sad news on her Instagram page on Tuesday.
"Relationships are hard," she wrote to her followers. "Given the recent speculation, I feel like I need to confirm that Jax and I have separated.

"I will at some point discuss this further, but my current focus is learning to navigate my new normal while providing a seamless and loving transition into co-parenting our daughter."

Rumours had run rife for weeks that the pair might have called it quits, as she hadn't posted any photos online with him since August 2022.
She also posted a cryptic statement in December, which read: "2022 has been the biggest year of spiritual and mental growth for me and for the first time in my life I can finally hear the whispers of my heart.

"I'm in touch with my institution and I've stopped people pleasing and I'm tackling my fear of judgement head on. This year I grew into something I could have never imagined… MYSELF."

Davina also no longer follows Jax on Instagram.
The former couple met prior to her appearance on MAFS, but rekindled their romance after her season aired.
They welcomed their first child together, daughter Mila-Mae Manuel, in 2019.
The duo then tied the knot in April 2022 at Plantation House, Duranbah, just below Tweed.
"I still can't even put into words how surreal this feels. I'm officially married to my best friend! To have been able to share this moment with our favourite people just fills our hearts with an abundance of joy, love and happiness," Davina wrote on Instagram at the time.
"I truly could not be more grateful 🤍Here's to a lifetime of loving you @jaxonmanuel Let the wedding spam begin!"

The bride rose to fame on Season 5 of MAFS and became one of the most controversial stars the show had ever seen.
Davina was matched with Ryan Gallagher, although they failed to make a connection and their relationship fizzled out. Yet she also pursued an affair with fellow groom Dean Wells, who was matched with Tracey Jewel in the experiment.
Dean ended things with Davina after saying she was 'too forward' and had been acting like they were already together, which turned him off.
Davina copped plenty of backlash, although in the months after her time on the show she reconnected with Jaxon.

They came together when Davina's time on MAFS ended, but they met in a Brisbane nightclub more than 10 years ago.
