MAFS' Cathy Evans shares graphic update as she recovers from full body liposuction
Married At First Sight bride Cathy Evans is recovering at home after undergoing vaser liposuction to many areas of her body.
The 28-year-old had the lipo done on 10 areas along and a fat transfer done on her body and is documenting the whole process for her YouTube channel.

Sharing an update from her bed a day after surgery, Cathy admitted recovery has been a challenge so far.

In one post on her Instagram story, Cathy shared a video of herself in bed covered in surgical bandages.
"Those who said, 'It's not that bad' 'it's a piece of cake' … was lying through their teeth!" she captioned the short video.

The aftermath of the surgery is definitely tougher than the former reality star expected and she opened up about how painful it is in another post to her followers.
"Hey everyone, I'm super swollen right now so my face looks quite f----- and I can only sleep on my stomach," she explained in the video.
"My neck is killing so I can't really do anything about this discomfort but I'm getting by. I am in quite a bit of pain and very limited in movement."
Cathy noted that she was "wet" from the leaking around the surgical wounds, which no doubt added to her being so uncomfortable.
She explained that she will have a vlog detailing her first week post-surgery when she is up to it, "But right now, I'm just focusing on my recovery."
Dr Joseph Waelchli, the surgeon who performed the procedure, also shared a series of before and after shots on his Instagram, detailing the procedure.
Some of the photos are quite graphic, showing Cathy face down on the operating table with her body exposed and covered in markings for the lipo.

Cathy underwent vaser liposuction and received a 'mini Brazilian Butt Lift' where fat cells are harvested from around the body and re-injected into the buttocks.
Before going under the knife Cathy shared a vlog on her YouTube, detailing the extensive surgery she was about to have done.

She was also upfront about the physique she wanted, explaining that going to the gym was not the answer for the look she desired.
"People are saying, 'Why aren't you just going to the gym?' And I do go to the gym. What I am after is not found at the gym. This shaped, sculpted body by a surgeon or doctor is not found at the gym," she said.
Cathy added she didn't feel the need to answer the question of 'Why?' she was getting the work done either.
"I don't think it really matters why I'm doing it. It's my body. It's my life. It's my money. I've thought about this long and hard. I am old enough to make my own decisions and what I decide to do to my body shouldn't affect anyone at all," she said.
"It doesn't change my personality or who I am. I don't ever have to explain the 'why'. If I want to do it, I want to do it."
All up she estimated the procedures would cost close to $30,000.
