Lauren and Eliot's Wedding Album

There may never have been a Married At First Sight groom as picky as 35-year-old Eliot, who admits not only to having near-impossible standards but also being willing to simply cut and run if he doesn't like what he sees at the end of the aisle.
Lauren, 37, is a business owner who knows exactly what she wants: a man that is masculine, chivalrous, and takes the lead.

As the experts say, it feels like fate that Lauren applied for the experiment at the same season as Eliot was in the mix, as their expectations about traditional gender roles in relationships line up.
"In some strange way, we've got a very compatible match," John Aiken said.
Will Lauren and Eliot agree with him?
It might not even matter, because before their marriage can even get underway, their big day faces a problem: Lauren's sister, Tamara.

Lauren looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder floral lace gown and white beaded headband.
The traditional bridal ensemble was oozing elegance.
Her arrival to her wedding venue was frosty, to say the least, as she rode alongside her sister who she had spent all morning bickering with.
Meanwhile, Eliot's best man Jordy was extremely nervous.
"I've got huge concerns that he may not be into her. If he smiles, happy days. If he's not smiling then it's huge red flags," he said.
After traveling and building his own life, Eliot said he was ready to find someone to share it with.
"The dream outcome would be to meet my wife, get married once only, have kids, have a family, grow old – but I'm a realist," he said.
"I've got pretty extreme views on what I want in a girl so I hope the experts have lived up to it."
"I hope when I turn around, I see my bride and I get a few butterflies because I really want it to work but at the same time, if there's not a massive spark initially, then I won't even finish the ceremony, I'll just leave," he continued.
So, what did he think in that all important moment when he turned around and saw Lauren for the first time?
"She looked breathtaking," he reacted. Phew!
Lauren felt a mutual attraction, but she wanted to withhold her complete judgement until she heard his vows and values.
The pair smiled through each other's vows, which made it clear they had many shared values.
"I hope for a partner with class, pride and who is innately masculine, driven to provide and protect," Lauren said.
In his, Eliot shared: "I can be stubborn and set in my ways and old fashioned, always thinking men should be men and women should be women."
Eliot felt like Lauren's vows dovetailed really well with his.
"That's pretty exciting, compatibility wise they're pretty on the money so that's a really big green flag for me," he said.
