Exclusive: MAFS' Awhina reveals offer she made before Adrian stormed out over not being included in a promo video
EXCLUSIVE: When Awhina headed to a run-of-the-mill Married At First Sight promo day, she didn't expect that it could have the potential to ruin her marriage with Adrian.
"We'd had a rough few weeks in our relationship but we'd had a good day at the promo shoot. Adrian was kind of in his element, taking photos," Awhina told 9Entertainment.

But once Adrian learned that he would not be included in one of the promo videos, things started to take a turn.
"I knew his feelings had been hurt and I knew he was feeling left out," Awhina tried to empathise.

The bride revealed she also offered up her own place in the promo so that Adrian could take her place.

After Adrian cut and run from the press day, Awhina had a gut feeling that when she returned back to the apartment that he wouldn't be there.
"I expected him not to be there because I knew he was so upset... but I just didn't expect for his ring to be left and drawers to be pulled out," Awhina said.
After calling him to find out his whereabouts and check if he was OK, Awhina was faced with a very obstinate Adrian.
He swore he wouldn't return to the experiment until he was in the promo and even criticised Awhina for not being more supportive of him.
"It was so consistent with his behaviours in the experiment where he'd do something wrong and then flip the script and turn it on me somehow," she said.
"It just felt like he was hurting me once again."

With Adrian's fate in the experiment hanging in the balance, Awhina hoped Adrian would return to the experiment in time for the third Dinner Party.
She was even more hopeful for an apology – but whether or not she'll get one, only time will tell.
Married At First Sight airs Sunday at 7pm and Monday to Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
