Exclusive: Ashleigh reveals even the 'nice guys' have betrayed her as she opens up about her 'toxic' past - in unseen MAFS audition tape
EXCLUSIVE: When starting her Married At First Sight journey, Ashleigh made one thing clear – she was searching for a 'Cam and Jules' kind of love story.
Coming out of a "toxic" relationship, she admitted even the "nice guys" have betrayed her. So, the 34-year-old has turned to the experts for help.

In her exclusive audition tape – which you can watch above – Ashleigh opened up about her rocky relationship history and revealed why she's not afraid to call the shots.
"I've tried the really hot ones, the players" she candidly said of the guys she's dated. "I think I went for that first and I got a little bit burnt."
"Then I dated the really nice guys that maybe weren't as attractive but had a good heart," she continued.
"And they've just kind of betrayed me and p--sed me off just the same," she admitted.
Speaking of her last relationship, Ashleigh described it as quite the "toxic cycle".
"I kind of lost myself a little bit in that relationship," she reflected.

She was made to feel that "insecurity and jealousy" were behind her reactions to her ex's problems.
"That's not who I am at all," she explained.
"I woke up and I realised all I got out of this relationship was fat and broke. I did say that to him and it didn't go down too well," she laughed.

And while she hasn't been lucky in love, the bride admitted she'd happily be the one to end a relationship if things weren't going well.

"I have pretty high standards," she smiled.
