'I took a break': Madeleine explains why she quit acting after 12 years and became a psychic medium on MAFS 2024

EXCLUSIVE: When the nation was introduced to Married At First Sight bride Madeleine, her unique gift caught everyone's attention.

The bride revealed she was a psychic medium, a path she followed after an incredible 12-year acting career.

In an exclusive video interview – which you can watch above – the 30-year-old revealed why she decided to step away from acting and the moment she found her true calling.

"I love acting, I think acting is so fun and cool," said Madeleine about her previous career. "But I took a break."

Madeleine, who is married to Ash in the experiment, was a regular on Home and Away and played nurse Amber Simmons from 2020 until 2021.

Among many other on-screen appearances, she also starred in Wentworth from 2016 to 2018, and as Brianna Wheeler in Upper Middle Bogan from 2013.

But the bride's acting career took a pause and in the interview, she explained how her psychic gifts came to her.

Madeleine also opened up about how being a medium has affected her dating life.

"To be honest, it's kept me single," she laughed.
