'I'm gutted': Richard breaks down in tears after one sentence derails his entire marriage with Andrea on MAFS 2024
Andrea and Richard have been one of the strongest couples on Married At First Sight this year, but it took one sentence to detail their entire marriage.
Facing the experts at the Commitment Ceremony on Sunday night, Andrea explained.

The bride was taken aback by the words Richard used to describe their sex life last time they were on the couch.
"I know that he's very open, but Richard talking about how many times a day we may or may not have sex, and the words..." Andrea began.
Andrea was hesitant to repeat them: "We gazed, and f--ked, and licking..."
"I felt disrespected," she said.

If you recall, last week's Commitment Ceremony followed Intimacy Week, which was a breeze for the couple.
"We did Intimacy Week, the week before Intimacy Week," Richard smiled at the time.
"We gazed, we hugged, we f--ked, we did everything," Richard continued, leaving little to the imagination.
It was those words that hit Andrea emotionally.
Andrea admitted she's put a wall up ever since and the couple haven't been able to recapture the romance they had.
"I felt like my bubble burst," she said quietly.

Richard owned his actions: "Our marriage started with passion and fireworks and it came to an abrupt end because of what I said to her."
"I'm a bit gutted about that, to be honest," he admitted.

With some wise words from expert Mel Schilling, Andrea was able to realise that Richard was not like the other guys, particularly the ones she's been hurt by.
Andrea knows that Richie is a "good, kind man". It's a comment so touching it brought him to tears:
"Not a lot of people say that about me, so when Andie says that, it's ultimate validation," said Richard holding his tears back.
It was time for the couple to make their decision, whether to 'leave' the experiment or 'stay' another week.
