Sara and Tim reflect on their journey following their emotional Final Vows on MAFS 2024

EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight's Sara and Tim agreed to continue their relationship during their emotional Final Vows.

In exclusive interviews with 9Entertainment – which you can watch in the video above – Tim reflected on his "big decision" to stay committed to Sara, while Sara revealed the lengths she went to in regaining Tim's trust.

But their journey towards their "fairytale" ending hasn't been an easy one.

Following Sara's betrayal when she met up with her ex behind Tim's back, the bride did everything she could to repair their relationship, including one last surprising phone call to her ex.

"One of the things I did to make sure that Tim felt like he could trust me was call my ex, in front of him, and tell him that our friendship couldn't happen any more," Sara revealed.

"So no, we haven't spoken since," she admitted.

Following their vows, Tim said he was in a good place with Sara as they were "enjoying each other's company".

"To me the Final Vows was us deciding if we see a future genuinely together after the experiment so I was a big decision for me," he said looking back.

"I was torn between my head and my heart."

In their exit interview, the couple also revealed whether they've dropped the L-bomb and plans to move to each other's cities as their relationship blossoms.
