If there's one thing we've learnt this week on Married At First Sight, it's that 'getting close' means something different to everyone.
Intimacy Week marked a turning point for the couples as they made sure their relationships weren't stuck in the friend zone.
MAFS: After The Dinner Party starts Wednesday February 18 only on Stan.
Some couples pushed the limits with spicy activities, others erred more on the side of caution and disaster struck for some.

Rachel and Steven
She threw the ball back in Steven's court and said it was up to him whether they moved forward in the experiment and ... bam!
Steven rose to the occasion and gave her the passionate kiss she was after.
It was everything she'd hoped for!
Brook and Chris
Instead of bringing them closer together, Intimacy Week spelled disaster for Brook and Chris.
Alessandra tasked the grooms with doing something special for their wives so Chris set up a pamper night – but Brook didn't want to do it.
"I feel smothered," she said.

This was disappointing for Chris, but nothing compared to his disappointment the next day when Brook packed her bags and got on a one-way flight home to the Gold Coast.
"I'm obviously sad but I understand how we've gotten to where we are," Chris said.
"I know it all stems from me, my attitude and my audition video."
Alissa and David
David knew just how to get Alissa going!
He cleaned their apartment in nothing but his underwear and an apron – and totally nailed the task.
"Acts of service, that's a turn on for me!" she said.
Mel and Luke
Here's something we never thought we'd see!
Mel and Luke embraced physical intimacy for the first time thanks to the tasks from Alessandra.
While the idea of a hug would've terrified them just last week, it only brought them closer together.
Rebecca and Steve
After rejecting Rebecca's ultimate fantasy night plan, she and Steve got into another argument when he suggested she wasn't only in the experiment for love.
He tried to spin this as a positive at the grooms' workshop, but Alessandra wasn't buying it.
She thought Steve was just trying to sound good in front of the cameras.
"I disagree with you ... I don't have an earpiece in my ear, I'm not waiting for someone to tell me what to say," he fired back.
Alessandra was not happy, warning the groom "do not even".

Gia and Scott
When Scott walked through the door to find Gia's "ultimate fantasy night" he burst out laughing.
But the joke was on him as he soon discovered Gia's fantasy was to have him "wait on [her] hand and foot".
"Scott likes to be in control all the time, he's a bit of a control freak, but tonight's not about him is it," Gia reminded everyone.
