Our first batch of Married At First Sight 2024 brides and grooms are married, and now five new participants are entering the experiment.
We've already seen many couples meet first time at the altar on their wedding day after being matched by relationship experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and certified sexologist Alessandra Rampolla.

Madeleine
Age: 30
From: Victoria
Occupation: Psychic Medium
Madeleine is energetic, charismatic and intense. Having established herself as an actor, a life altering ayahuasca experience opened Madeleine up to her gift of connecting with the spiritual world. Undertaking a radical career change to become a medium, Madeleine also stepped away from her nine-year relationship realising she needed a man in her life, not a boy.
While she knows that this new life is her true calling, Madeleine admits her profession has kept her isolated and single and she is hoping to restore the balance in her life.
Madeleine is empathetic to a fault, fiercely loving and generous with her time and energy. She is looking for someone kind, loyal and who will love and accept her just as she is.
Jade
Age: 26

Occupation: Executive Assistant
Jade is searching for an honest man who can keep up with her wild and playful side. Having no issues ruffling feathers, Jade will hold someone's feet to the fire if they are in the wrong and isn't afraid to say what she thinks.
A single mum with an eight-year-old daughter, Jade is cautious of who she lets into their world, admitting she can come off as reserved and cold at first meeting.
Having been cheated on in the past, Jade's walls are up. But underneath her tough exterior is someone who falls hard and fast when in love and is a true romantic. Jade is looking for the type of deep, earth shattering, 'cannot live without each other' love that you see in the movies.
Growing up in South Africa before relocating to Australia, Jade has seen plenty of arranged marriages work successfully and believes the MAFS experience may foster a similar result for her.
Stephen
Age: 26
From: Western Australia
Occupation: Hairdresser
Residing in Perth, Stephen is an empathetic deep thinker who doesn't shy away from having an opinion and wants a partner who likes to be challenged.
An identical twin and one of eight children, Stephen calls himself the "golden child". Hailing from a family-orientated, Italian background, his relationships with his mum and stepdad are incredibly important.
Like his parents, Stephen wants to find love in a serious and monogamous relationship which he says is hard to find in Perth with a small dating pool.
Stephen's past relationship ended four years ago after he was left heartbroken from being cheated on. Despite not wanting to get hurt again, Stephen feels ready to trust and let his guard down, he is looking for something meaningful and wants a man who is family orientated with a good sense of humour and killer smile.
Ash
Age: 33
From: Victoria
Occupation: Sales Manager
A sensitive and caring guy, Ash is often misjudged by women because of all his tattoos. A nurturing person at heart, Ash spends a lot of time caring for his younger brothers and is ready to start a family of his own.
Ash's previous relationship ended eight years ago, and he has not been in love since. With a habit of choosing women who live overseas, the complexities of maintaining a long-distance partnership always get the better of him. Willing to truly go the extra mile, he once moved to Norway for a woman to try and make it work.
Generous and thoughtful with old school morals, Ash is tired of attracting women who walk all over him. He is looking for an authentic partner who is willing to accept him fully and have the relationship last beyond the initial love-bomb phase.
Ridge
Age: 27

Occupation: Psychiatric Nurse
A two-time Commonwealth Games weightlifter, Ridge juggles an intense fitness regime with his day-job as a Psychiatric Nurse. Despite his playboy persona, Ridge is ready to commit to the right woman and says his parents' loving marriage is what relationship dreams are made of.
Up until now Ridge has never been ready for a serious relationship, with his career and training taking top priority. After putting in the work through self-reflection and counselling, Ridge believes he can give himself fully to a partner and is open to letting the MAFS experts choose someone for him that he may not have chosen for himself.
Ridge has strong morals and is loyal to a fault. He can also be loud, vain and cocky. With a collection of "situation-ships'' to his name, Ridge is drawn to women with "tidy rigs" who do not take themselves too seriously.
Ellie
Age: 32
From: Queensland
Occupation: Registered Nurse
One of three sisters, Ellie is incredibly close to her family and ready to start a family of her own. With the hope of forming a healthy relationship and becoming a mum, Ellie is genuine in her desire to find someone special to share her white picket fence ideals.
Ellie was left heartbroken after her ex-fiancé cheated on her several years ago, resulting in the cancellation of her wedding a month before the big day.
The relationship breakdown rocked her to the core, leaving her with a constant need for reassurance. She now admits she has a tendency to bend over backwards for people, even when she knows they do not deserve it.
Despite her open, friendly and sunny nature, Ellie has largely been unlucky in love. Having tried every trick in the book to find her perfect match, she hopes the experiment delivers her Mr Right.
Andrea
Age: 51
From: Queensland

At the age of 51, Andrea's young-at-heart nature is proof that a number does not need to define you, nor does it mean you have to act your age.
A single mum to two adult children, Andrea ended her most recent relationship after realising she was being gaslit, a term she learnt while watching MAFS. The series inspired her to cut ties with her ex-partner once and for all and forge a new path to finding love.
Since then she has been bread-crumbed, love-bombed and ghosted more times than she can count. Andrea describes herself as giving, respectful and kind, but can on occasion be accident-prone and forgetful – which is why she has a "To Do" list tattooed on her arm.
Earnest, lovable and trusting, Andrea is full of optimism and ready to fall head over heels for the right person this time.
Cassandra
Age: 29
From: Queensland
Occupation: Administration Officer
A laughing ray of sunshine, Cassandra is outgoing, bubbly and social. While she says she can talk under water, when it comes to love she has found herself in a drought.
Having experienced the devastating loss of her first love, Cassandra has struggled to find a meaningful connection with anyone since. As she approaches her 30s, she yearns to meet someone equally as family-oriented and loving as she is to build a life and raise a "small football team" of kids together.
With a huge supportive family originating from Tanzania, Cassandra has an open mind and a huge heart with a lot of love to give to someone kind with a beautiful smile.
Eden
Age: 28

Occupation: Recruitment Manager
Eden has worked hard to build a life she loves – but living on the Gold Coast, she's far from her Adelaide family and relies on her best friend, her dog Cub, for company.
Eden has been single for three years since her previous relationship ended because her partner cheated with her best friend. Since the betrayal, losing her partner and her lifelong best friend in one fell swoop, Eden admits her trust issues run extremely deep.
Eden is fiercely independent, a self-confessed daddy's girl and a perfectionist at heart. She is putting her trust in the experts to match her with someone ambitious, generous and loyal.
