Love Island's Matt Zukowski and Tammy Hembrow reveal surprise engagement three months after confirming romance
Love Island Australia's Matt Zukowski and influencer Tammy Hembrow are officially engaged!
Matt, 28, got down on one knee in during the couple's recent holiday to the Maldives, just three months after the duo confirmed their romance to the nation.
Tammy, 29, shared a video of the proposal to Instagram captioned: "Never in my life have I felt so safe, so loved, so understood, so cared for. What a plot twist you were."

The proposal included a romantic dinner next to the ocean, with sand formed into the shape of a heart and fairy lights and candles surrounding the couple.
The video showed Matt going down on one knee before the duo shared a romantic kiss, with Tammy jumping in the air in excitement.

The post was met with an abundance of congratulatory messages, with Matt's best friend and podcast co-host Anna McEvoy writing: "The best news ever!!! Couldn't be happier for you both ❤️❤️❤️."
Married At First Sight's Jessika Power added: "The BIGGEST congratulations to you both," while Claire Nomarhas gushed: "This is so gorgeous! Well done @mattzukowski congratulations you guys ✨."
Many fans had correctly predicted that Tammy was engaged, after spotting a ring on her finger in her holiday snaps.
"I see [an] engagement ring!" one wrote, with another agreeing: "WEEEE SEEE THAT RING 😍."
The couple made their relationship public when they made a blue carpet appearance together for the Stan Original Series C*A*U*G*H*T in September 2023.
When asked by 9Entertainment if they were "officially dating," at the time, they simply acted coy and smiled.

News of their budding romance came five months after Matt confirmed he'd split from on-and-off ex of a year Genevieve.
Meanwhile, influencer Tammy – who has over 17 million Instagram followers – called off her engagement to ex Matt Poole in December last year.
The pair share one-year-old daughter Posy while Tammy has two children from a previous relationship with ex-partner Reece Hawkins.
They too had been engaged, but called it off in 2018 after four years of dating.
While Matt and Tammy tried to keep the early stages of their romance under wraps, Matt couldn't help but blush when he was asked about Tammy during the Sydney live show of his podcast Where's Your Head At?
The audio was shared online in September, as listeners heard one member of the crowd ask Matt: "Do you like a girl with a bob and three children?"

"Yes I do. Is she here today? Would she like to stand up?" he replied, as his co-host Anna McEvoy said: "Let's give Tammy a round of applause!"
The audience member then asked if Matt was "in love," to which he sweetly responded: "I'm falling."
The star officially "hard launched" his relationship with Tammy in October, with a slew of loved-up photos of the new couple to his to Instagram page.

"I am very loved up," he later told 9Entertainment. "Yes, I'm very in love."
