Love Island celebrity fans: All the stars you'd never expect to be obsessed with the hit reality show

Christina Applegate
Christina Applegate admitted she had some "beef" with the Love Island US producers and contestants – but we swear she's a fan!
The megastar and Emmy-winning actress took to X, formerly Twitter, in July 2024 about the one thing that's currently annoying her on the show before admitting she's watched every season.
"I adore Love Island. Have watched every season. [But] I have a beef with production and contestants," she wrote.
"Can you pls stop making weird sounds with your water bottles? Like holding straw in mouth and chewing it and not sipping. Or girls with long nails making clicky clackety sounds on ha."
Sounds like she's not an ASMR fan, but the Dead to Me actress wasn't done...
Christina Applegate
It seems like she had some advice for the Islanders!
"Also to add to my Love island rant... You all are very attractive people, please use clear deodorant!!!" Christina continued.
She said she couldn't stand the obvious look of "white deodorant" being applied in the heat.
"[It's] gross...This is just me helping you best the best version of you. Haha," she added.
Margot Robbie
She may be one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but even Margot Robbie is obsessed with Love Island UK.
In a 2022 interview with The Sun the A-list celebrity opened up about the 2022 season of the hit show – which you can stream for free on 9Now
Margot also revealed the Islander she's been cheering for.
"Paige has probably been my favourite – but for pure entertainment I think Davide and Ekin-Su have made the season," she said at the time.
"Love Island reminds me of living in London – watching it with my girlfriends when everybody was home from work."
In another interview with Vogue UK, the 32-year-old revealed just how far her love for the show goes. Turns out Margot has a Love Island drink bottle, which she proudly showed off during the interview.

Fast forward to 2023 and both Ekin-Su and Davide were seen snapping selfies with Margot Robbie at the Barbie London premiere.
Alongside a photo with the actress, Ekin-Su wrote: "Icons only, Margot you are magic."
Meanwhile, Davide took to his own Instagram page to share photos with Margot.
"My day, it's completed," he captioned a post of himself and the star. "I'm a Barbie man, in a Barbie world."

But her passion for the show extends further than watching and memorabilia.
"If I went to university, I'd write a thesis about the male ego on Love Island," Margot explained. "I'm really interested in the whole alpha male dynamic, and I'm going to sound like an absolute lunatic right now, but it's like Deliverance, that pack mentality. And you can see it whether you're watching a pack of lions or Love Island or a Scorsese gangster film."
Proving that despite her success, she really is just like the rest of us, Margot fangirled over the Love Island UK cast when she got the chance to meet them.
At the London premiere of her superhero film Birds of Prey, Margot posed for a bunch of photos with stars from the show's 2019 season, including Jordan Hames, Lucie Donlan and Michael Griffiths.

"I won't know what to do when Love Island finishes. I mean, what will I watch? It's literally the most addictive thing on TV ever," the Aussie actress said in an interview with the Daily Star Sunday in 2018.
"We have dedicated our summer to watching those guys. We are going to miss them.
"I love sitting down watching all these beautiful people have their dramas while I lie there on the sofa eating pizza and drinking beer.
"I am like, 'How do all of these people stay in such incredible shape?'. There isn't much body fat on that island."

Millie Bobby Brown
Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown hasn't shied away from showing she's passionate about Love Island.
Past contestants, including Love Island Season 5 Winner Amber Gill, and Season 4 winner Dani Dyer have both revealed that Millie slid into their DMs for a chat.
Millie also talked about her love for the show while doing press for her movie Enola Holmes, in which she starred alongside Henry Cavill.

In an interview with Extra, Henry revealed that Millie had been keeping him up to date with all things Love Island during their time working together.
"Whether I wanted it or not I was getting a full Love Island update every day in the makeup and hair trailer," he said.
"She was definitely keeping me posted on that, and she was also chasing me around trying to get me to do TikTok videos."
Chrissy Teigen
Chrissy Teigen watches a lot of TV, and she jumped on the Love Island UK bandwagon in late 2019. The only problem was she had a bit of trouble understanding exactly what was going on in the Villa.
"Not only do I need captions for Love Island UK, I need them to be bigger and I need to be able to play the show at half speed like a poscast. help @hulu I want to understand," she tweeted.
Chrissy Teigen
When Love Island USA was airing, one couple on the show, Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew, caught Chrissy's attention after they mentioned her #goals relationship with John Legend on the show.
"They're [Chrissy and John] my favourite couple," praised Justine, before Caleb claimed he's the Chrissy in the relationship, and Justine's the John.
The Islanders were fan favourites due to their laid back personalities and genuine chemistry. It was their mention of Chrissy that revealed she was one of those fans (just as they are hers).
"Omgahhhhh one of my 2 favorite couples on the show like me ahhhhh!" Chrissy Tweeted.
We have a feeling her love for the show only grew from there.
