'I've been a wreck': Love Island Australia's Phoebe Spiller and Mitchell Eliot split after two years together
Love Island Australia's Phoebe Spiller and Mitchell Eliot have announced they have split after more than two years together.
The couple were runners up of Season 4 of Love Island Australia in 2022 and had been together ever since.

In separate statements posted to Instagram, Phoebe and Mitch explained there was still lots of love for one another but the fashion student, 26, and personal trainer, 27, "wanted different things".
"I honestly never thought I'd be writing this..." Phoebe's message began.

"Unfortunately Mitch and I have separated.
"As you can imagine, I have been a wreck and not in a good head space as of lately, so I'd really appreciate it if you guys don't ask questions or make assumptions.
"As much as I wanted him to be my forever, we ended up wanting different things. Regardless of that though, I will always love him."

In a separate message to fans, Mitch explained that he "never thought [he'd] be the one to make a breakup post" but felt it was "needed to focus on getting through this and moving on".
He continued, addressing Phoebe directly and thanking her for the past two years together.
"Phoebe, we fell in love the day we met and from then on you should me what it's like to be so bloody loved.

"You have me two amazing years and I can't thank you enough for that.
"But we need time to grow as our own people.
"I still love you very very much and will still always be backing you."
Phoebe and Mitch's split comes seven months after Mitch unveiled a tattoo to permanently honour his love for Phoebe.
As part of an early Christmas present, Mitch surprised Phoebe by getting a tattoo dedicated to her.
The tattoo read "PS I love you", with the 'PS' holding a special double meaning as they are also Phoebe's initials.
