My Mum Your Dad's Dani Lyons reveals beautifully chilling moment she felt her husband's presence while finding love again

Dani Lyons had quite the journey on My Mum Your Dad 2023.

After losing her husband Paul, a former Ninja Warrior star who tragically passed away four years ago, Dani opened her heart to a second chance at love.

A chance she found with Wes, who gave her "all the reassurance" she needed to love again.

But there was an unseen moment during her time in the Retreat that was almost a sign in itself, she recalled.

Speaking with hosts John Polo and Carolyn Gower on the My Person Died Too podcast, Dani opened up about love after loss, and how often it's the ones we've lost who are always looking out for us.

"In the house, we had three beds in a row," Dani explained on the podcast. "I had Nadia on one side and Bec on the other.

"I was lying there and I was upset..."

Dani recalled how suddenly, a movement happened to the bed which they couldn't explain.

"Nadia was like, 'Paul's here and he's telling you to get up and go for it'," Dani said.

"It was the talk of the house. I put that down to Paul telling me to pull my finger out."

The mum-of-three recalled other instances where she felt Paul's presence, which you can hear in detail during the podcast.

It includes an "orb" that was caught on cameras at her late husband's gym, to the moment his phone lit up with a message after he passed.

She said she felt "peace and happiness" that he could be connecting with her.

"He's always going to guide me, that's what I believe," she continued.

"I've had the most beautiful messages from people, people I haven't even met saying Paul would be so proud... saying that Paul sent Wes my way.

"I like to think he did."
