'Absolutely robbed': Season 1's Sam comes back with a vengeance as he makes shock return to The Summit 2024

EXCLUSIVE: Here's a face we didn't expect to see. Sam from Season 1 of The Summit made his surprise return in Season 2 as he took on the role of The Chaser.

"Your mission is to chase them down, catch them and steal someone's cash," host Jai Courtney issued Sam a task.

Even though the other trekkers had a four-day head start on the journey, Sam thought himself very capable of catching up to them with ease.

In an exclusive and unseen video – which you can watch above – Sam reveals his agenda as he conquers the mountain at record speed.

In Season 1, the personal trainer was eliminated by his peers and had his $71,000 cash stolen.

But he didn't go down without a fight. Sam took $10,000 home for himself after he stole $200,000 for the Mountain's Keeper.

As he makes his comeback, Sam has fire in his belly and "unfinished business" with the Mountain's Keeper.

"Last year I was absolutely robbed, that opportunity was mine, those winnings, standing on top of that mountain was mine," Sam said as he returned to the mountain for a second time.

Sam barely broke a sweat as he reached the first obstacle, a shaky rope ladder.

"I can definitely make up some time here, this would've taken them hours," Sam said as he bowled over the task in just minutes.

"I was built for this. Everything I do is forging an unrelenting resilience for the task at hand."
