The trekkers reveal the sentimental items they've brought with them to The Summit 2024

In an exclusive video – which you can watch above – the trekkers reveal some of the sentimental items they've brought with them to use as motivation when things get tough on their quest to win $1 million.

For McLeod's Daughters star Simmone Jade Mackinnon, a gift from a fan is helping her get to the mountain peak.

She revealed a small bag containing stones and crystal with different intentions.

"I have this amazing little bag here that was actually a gift from a fan of a TV show that I was on," Simmone said.

"There are all different stones in there for all different protections – strength, determination, safety.

"So this little bag is my key to getting up there."

NRL legend Mat Rogers packed with him a coin he received after he completed the Kokoda Trail with his daughter a few years ago as well as he photo of his siblings.

While Phil brought with him a shirt that he and 19 of his mates wore more than 20 years ago on a footy trip to Bali where he was blown up in the 2002 Bali Bombings.

"This shirt reminds me of a time where I had to overcome some pretty significant challenges and adversity in my life," Phil explained.
