It's officially here! Season 2 of My Mum Your Dad, a match-making series quite unlike anything you've seen before.

Single and with open hearts, these hopeful parents are ready to give love a second chance.

Hoping to guide their romantic journey is host Kate Langbroek, and of course the cupids in charge – their kids!

This year, the adult kids are taking full control of their parents' dating lives – with permission – and they're not holding back.

Love will blossom and hearts will be broken as new parents arrive and those that fail to make a romantic connection will be asked to leave.

Who left the Retreat in Episode 7?

Four couples have decided to continue on to the Blessing Ceremony, leaving us with the once perfect couple Kim and Shannon.

So, their road has come to a close and speaking to cameras, Shannon explained his decision: "If I ignored Katie I would have learned nothing.

"She wanted me to listen to her and I did and I will forever."

It's been a dramatic 24 hours at the My Mum Your Dad retreat, but eleven parents remain in the search for love.

Boss has left, meaning one mum must pack her bags.

That dream is over for mum-of-four Donna, and her daughter Steph.

It was time for Donna and daughter Steph to say their goodbyes.

"I was really proud of my mum for putting herself out there," Steph told cameras ahead of their tearful reunion. "It's OK to be vulnerable and show emotions."

Who left the Retreat in Episode 5?

After finding out about the dads' golf day, it was time for Chloe to confront her dad Boss once and for all.

"I can't keep defending my dad anymore," Chloe cried. "I feel really guilty for what he said and that's not OK..."

So she left the bunker for an emotional intervention.

"I can't see you go through this anymore," Chloe admitted. "I think it's time for us to go home."

In tears, Boss told the group he was leaving.

"I never wanted tp upset the kids," Boss told cameras. "It's not who I am."

"I've learned being here, you've got to take responsibility in all facets you do. Chloe's decision weighs well over me wanting to stay. It was her over everything."

Just as all eyes were on Wes, mum-of-four Donna, 51, came storming through.

"I'm not meek and mild character and I don't want a meek and mild partner," Donna told cameras.

The self-proclaimed "cougar" is here to find and love, and has brought her daughter Steph, 27, along for the wild ride.

But, an extra mum in the Retreat can only mean one thing – an elimination.

"The kids have decided there's one mum who hasn't made a connection, and sadly her time in the Retreat is over," host Kate Langbroek announced moments after Donna's arrival.

That mum was Michelle, who kicked things off with Masi but failed to find a connection with anyone else.

Who joined the Retreat in Episode 3?

There were five single dads and six single mums in the Retreat come Episode 3.

Seems only fair to send someone in...

Enter father-of-one Wes and his son Jake, 21.

Wes is a typical Aussie bloke: he surfs, swims, snowboards and rides a dirt bike.

He's since had a serious relationship that ended when his partner cheated on him. Now he's been single for five years and is ready to find love once again.

"I do feel like I have trust issues, so I haven't been dating at all really," Wes revealed.

"I really looking forward to meeting somebody and hopefully getting that fire back."

Who joined the Retreat in Episode 2?

Two bombshells joined the Retreat in Episode 2 and boy, did they stir the pot.

Strutting in first was mum-of-five Nadia, 47.

She's fiercely independent with a long checklist for her ideal match: tall, educated, ambitious, fit, kind, confident and down to earth.

Watching her every move will be daughter Mona, 25.

"It's time for her to get out there, meet someone new and become vulnerable again," she said.

Moments later, the second bombshell arrived: mum-of-two Janine, 53, accompanied by her daughter Tiarn, 22.

"It would be nice to find somebody that I can eventually fall in love with and live my days out with," Janine said.

"I don't think anybody's perfect, but I do believe in a perfect match."
