Watch: First trailer for My Mum Your Dad Season 2 as parents seek out a second chance at love - with help from their kids

My Mum Your Dad won the hearts of the nation when it premiered in November 2022.

And now the incredible show is coming back for Season 2, and we have the brand new trailer you can watch above.

In it, we see a whole host of parents looking for a second chance at love – with a little help from their kids, who will be watching on and making all the decisions.

"I am protective of her, as I don't want someone to come in and break her heart again," we see one daughter say about her mother.

"I've seen him heartbroken. He has so much love to give, and no one to give it to," another says about her dad.

"I'm finally ready to meet the love of my life," one parent explains.

We then catch a glimpse of host Kate Langbroek telling the kids that they'll be the ones pulling the strings.

"Who your parents date, how often the date... it's all in your hands," she tells them.

We also watch one dad's flirting techniques in action.

"Is your dad a player?" one of the daughters asks the dad in question's son. After he smirked back, she laughed: "I'm taking that as a yes!"

We also see one father become extremely emotional, with a tear streaming down his face as he says: "All of our kids are a lot wiser than we think.

"They see everything. [My heart] is calling for connection."

It's a touching journey that you need to be watching – and we cannot wait.
