UK Travel: You can learn to fly a broom at this Harry Potter castle
With the new films, Bridget Jones: Mad about the Boy and Paddington in Peru made in London and hit shows like Bridgeton and Outlander also shot in the UK, not to forget the Harry Potter phenomenon, Britain is one of the world's top filming locations.
It's no wonder research from Visit Britain shows more than nine out of 10 potential visitors to the nation are keen to see spots from their fave show or film on a trip
VisitBritain Country Manager, Maria Sykes offered some inspiration if you're heading over.

What are the top spots for TV and film fans in the UK?
"Britain is already bursting at the seams with experiences for film and TV fans, from walking in Ted Lasso's footsteps in the riverside village of Richmond, London to exploring Bridgeton's Regency-era streets in Bath or touring one of England's magnificent stately homes and castles like Highclere Castle in Newbury, the iconic setting for Downtown Abbey.

"In Scotland, visitors can explore the world of Outlander with historic castles and mysterious standing stones, while over in Wales, see how the dramatic Welsh landscapes brought House of the Dragon to life."
What about lesser known places?
"In the West Midlands, Peaky Blinders fans can visit the Black Country Living Museum, a key filming location for the TV series and open-air museum which brings Tommy Shelby's Birmingham to life.

You can also take a historical tour of the real-life Peaky Blinders gang in Birmingham or visit one of Birmingham's oldest pubs, The Old Crown, just down the road from where they are filming the new Peaky Blinders film at Digbeth Loc Studios.
With more canals than Venice and the most Michelin-starred restaurants in the UK outside London, Birmingham is a vibrant industrial hub only one and a half hours by train from London."
