The Travel Guides have visited 36 countries - here's how you can join them
If you've ever sat down to watch Travel Guides on Nine and thought, 'wow, that would be a cool job, I'd love to do that'. Well, now's your chance.
The show is currently searching for new groups of holidaymakers to come on board and become travel critics for the next season.
Just think, you could be jetsetting around the world just like the iconic families and duos we've seen on TV.

Over the last nine seasons of the show, the Travel Guides have visited an incredible 36 countries and done some seriously cool things.
They've swum with sharks in Tahiti, relaxed in saunas in the Arctic Circle, and one couple even had a Vegas wedding complete with an Elvis impersonator.

"We're so lucky and so humbled to be still doing all this travelling as a family and having all these experiences," says Cathy, the matriarch of the show's Fren family.
"There's not one day that goes past that we don't pinch ourselves and think how grateful we are doing this."
Her husband Mark says that he's always amazed by the fantastic ideas the Travel Guides team has for their activities while travelling.

"When we meet fans out on the street they all say I want to do the same holiday you do. We're so lucky as a family to be able to do this, all over the world - and in our own country Australia."
Keen to apply? They're looking for groups of two to four people, all aged 18 or over.
You don't need to have already travelled together, as the show's star Matt points out.
"You don't know if someone is going to be a good travel buddy until you actually travel," he says.
"Travel snob" Kevin says of his partner Janetta, "We've been travelling together for 40 years. We're very compatible together. We enjoy the same things. We've never had an issue travelling."

The unique thing about being a part of Travel Guides is that they never know where they're going until they arrive at the airport, says Kevin.
"Until we get to the airport, we could be going to Adelaide or Amsterdam," he says.
Thankfully, though, the crew gives them a temperature guide to help them pack, and avoid any wardrobe mishaps. You don't want to be heading to Alaska with a suitcase full of sarongs and bikinis!

You must be a group of 2 to 4 people, aged 18 or over.
You must have a current passport and be able to travel between August 2025 and January 2026.
You must upload a video with your application. All members of your group must appear in the video along with individual photos and one all together.
Applicants must be Australian citizens or have been a permanent resident for at least two years.
Applicants must not be or have been in the past two years an employee of Nine or its affiliates, or be associated with any news or media outlet, including any web-based media outlet in Australia or elsewhere.
