Winger Max Jorgensen tipped for ton as injuries hit Wallabies again in Rugby Championship

Max Jorgensen will make his first start for a Wallabies team again hit by injury for the second Rugby Championship clash with Argentina on Sunday (AEST).

The 20-year-old will line up on the right wing in Santa Fe, with Andrew Kellaway switching to fullback to replace Tom Wright.

No.10 Noah Lolesio has been ruled out with back tightness, handing a start to last weekend's match-winner Ben Donaldson.

And Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt has also been forced into a change at lock, where Jeremy Williams will start in place of Lukhan Salakaia-Loto.

"Last weekend was very tough and very tight," Schmidt said.

"We have a few changes after the bruising encounter and know that it will be physical again this weekend."

Prop James Slipper is on the bench and set to equal George Gregan's record of 139 Tests for the Wallabies when he takes the field.

"It's a tremendous achievement for James to equal the record of the most capped Wallaby," Schmidt said.

"He's the ultimate team man and I know the whole group will do everything they can to make it a memorable milestone."

Wallabies legend Tim Horan was excited about the opportunity for Jorgensen.

"He's a wonderful player and has the potential to play 80 to 100 Test matches for the Wallabies if he can be injury free," Horan said on Stan Sport's Rugby Heaven.

"When you get real out and out pace on the wing, he actually forces other people to chase him, if he makes a half a break."

Former Wallabies outside back Cameron Shepherd didn't think Lolesio's absence would greatly affect the team.

"He (Donaldson) will be playing a very similar style that Noah plays," Shepherd said.

"One thing I do like a bit more about Ben is he probably tries to test the line a little bit more. That (Force) combination with Hamish Stewart will be invaluable because they're used to it. So I don't think we'll lose much.

"I think it'll actually be very interesting to see how the team now balances with a new playmaker... I'm obviously a big fan."

Reds recruit Josh Canham is also in line for a Test debut from the bench.

Australia won the first Test 20-19 in La Plata thanks to Donaldson's late penalty.

Meanwhile, Pumas captain Julian Montoya will play his 100th Test for Argentina.

Montoya will become only the fourth centurion in Pumas history at Colon Stadium.

The hooker debuted in 2014 and took over the captaincy fulltime from 2021.

He led the Pumas to the semi-finals at the Rugby World Cup in France last year.

Argentina coach Felipe Contepomi has made a big change at No.10 with Tomas Albornoz coming in for Santiago Carreras while winger Bautista Delguy has replaced Santiago Cordero.

Pedro Rubiolo was ruled out with concussion.
