‘Croc’s tooth? Turtle fin?’: Fourth element of Brisbane 2032 emblem discovered
A fourth element of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics emblem has been discovered on the Gold Coast, and it has surely shot a sun and rays into favouritism for when the full emblem is revealed on Monday.
Olympian Nat Cook – who famously won gold with Kerri Pottharst in the beach volleyball at Sydney 2000 – and Paralympic star Alexa Leary unveiled the piece on the Sunshine Coast overlooking Glass House Mountain on Friday morning.

The element is long, skinny, and heavily resembles the first two found on Tuesday and Wednesday.
“I think it’s a representation of our amazing state,” Cook said on Nine’s Today on Friday.
"Everything from the sun, the sky, the ocean, maybe a croc's tooth, maybe a turtle fin."
Leary was stumped altogether.
"I keep thinking about it, but I'm like, Lex, come on, come on, think. But I couldn't say."
Assuming all the elements are being revealed to scale, the third element on Thursday morning was significantly smaller than the other three, round, and with a bite taken out of it.
The discoveries are being made at regional Queensland towns that are set to host Olympic events.
Tuesday’s element was found in Cairns, Wednesday’s in Townsville, and Thursday’s in Rockhampton.
Today reporter Jessica Millward, who has been following the discoveries since Tuesday, said a much larger element could be uncovered in the last two days.
"When I saw this one this morning, I thought, 'yes, OK, it's going to be a sun'. But the guys here are telling me that perhaps we need to expect a bigger piece at some stage. So that could throw a spanner in the works," she said.

“I’ve consulted my resident puzzle expert, that is my five-year-old, and he thought this was a sword.
"But he did think yesterday's was a sweet potato, so I'm not too sure about that."
The six elements of the Brisbane 2032 emblem are being 'discovered' by Aussie sporting legends over six days until Sunday morning, before they're all put together for the big reveal on Monday night.
