10. Eric Grothe Senior and Eric Grothe Junior
Eric Snr is regarded by many as the best winger of all time - a key man in Parramatta's all star backline that helped the team to four premierships in the 1980s.
10. Eric Grothe Senior and Eric Grothe Junior
Eric Jnr didn't quite reach his father's lofty heights but was a fine finisher for the Eels, Roosters and Sharks. Both played for Sydney, NSW and Australia.
9. Allan and Craig Fitzgibbon
The only father-son combination on our list to both play and coach at first grade level. Allan (pictured as coach of Illawarra) played for the Balmain Tigers in the 1960s and was a member of the historic 1969 winning grand final team before coaching Illawarra and Cronulla.
9. Allan and Craig Fitzgibbon
Craig played for the Dragons and Roosters, winning the 2002 grand final with the latter. He turned his hand to coaching, taking over Cronulla last season and has reached the finals in both his years with the club.
8. Bill and Brett Mullins
Bill Mullins (pictured on the left, receiving a pass) was a sprinter turned footballer in the 1960s and '70s who became the first Rooster to score 100 top grade tries and was in the club's team of the century.
8. Bill and Brett Mullins
Son Brett had a long career with the Raiders, scoring many memorable tries, before emulating his father in 2002 by winning a premiership with the Roosters.

7. Manoa Thompson and Jarryd Hayne
Son Jarryd was one of the game's superstars in the 2000s, winning the Dally M Medal at Parramatta. He tried his hand at NFL without success before off-field events ended his career in disgrace.
6. John and Martin Lang
John Lang was one of the stars of the old Brisbane comp in the 1960s and 1970s, before coming to Sydney for one year, helping the Roosters to the 1980 grand final.
