Tigers great Bryce Gibbs' fear for Lachlan Galvin as Jason Ryles confirms Eels interest in signing young star
Wests Tigers great Bryce Gibbs fears no players in the NRL are "going to want to play" with Lachlan Galvin amid his ongoing saga with the club.
Galvin's management issued the Tigers with a legal letter alleging the teenager has been subject to bullying and not provided with a safe work environment since rejecting a lucrative multi-year deal.
The letter comes just days after Galvin's Tigers teammates Jarome Luai and Sunia Turuva took to social media with swipes at the young gun's decision.

Galvin was dropped to reserve grade ahead of the club's clash with Parramatta, leaving many to speculate the five-eighth may have already played his last game with the club.
Given the threats directed at Galvin since his contract situation was announced, the Tigers added security arrangements for the young star at the game.

But it remains unclear if Galvin will don the Wests Magpies jersey on Monday now that there has been a legal escalation to the situation.
Although Galvin will not be staying on at the club long-term, the Tigers have insisted they will not be considering an early release from his deal.
However, the legal situation that has seen emerged around the young star is one Gibbs fears will have significant impact on his future in the league.
"How embarrassing from the management team," Gibbs wrote on X.
"No player in the comp is going to want to play with him now.
"I can bet any money on some press release coming out tomorrow before the game.
"They will do anything to undermine the Tigers tomorrow ... Tigers team is too solid."
The Tigers' upcoming rivals the Eels have been predicted to be a strong contender to land the signature of the teenager, given the soon-to-be absence of Dylan Brown.
Asked about the possibility of acquiring the young talent, Eels coach Jason Ryles said the club will be ready to pounce when the time is right.
"Our five-eighth has left, so we're in the market for a five-eighth," Ryles said.
"Lachie Galvin's an exceptional talent, so when the time is right we'll be speaking to him.
"There seems to be a connection from when he played here as a junior. At the end of the day it's about what's best for Lachlan and his family.
"Hopefully we'll be one of the clubs he considers."
