Lachlan Galvin will not don the Tigers jersey beyond 2026 after the teen sensation rejected a lucrative multi-year extension in a bid to test the open market.
The Tigers on Monday confirmed Galvin had "been offered the largest contract offer for a junior player in the history of the club" but the player and his management opted to leave Concord instead.
"Lachlan and his management have decided his future lies elsewhere and were not willing to review the offer," the club said in a somewhat bizarre public statement.
