Ricky chokes back tears
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart once again showed his love for his players during an emotional interview with Fox League.
Reports suggest Jamal Fogarty is almost certain to be heading to Manly next year with Stuart previously encouraging him to do what's best for his family.
In his 100th match, Fogarty was at his best again and Stuart wants him to stay.
"He's got a real mature personality. We sat down and had a good chat about it last week, he knows exactly where I'm at and he came out obviously with the excitement of playing his 100th NRL game," he said.
"Nobody remembers back to when we got Jamal. There was controversy over the Gold Coast when he left there and he came here and bought right into Canberra and that's what I love about Jamal. I just hope we don't lose him."

Stuart noticeable broke in his voice when discussing Fogarty with Mal Meninga noting he was "nearly crying" when Fogarty was interviewed after.
Asked what the headline was going to be around his future, the halfback was too smart.
"Raiders win by 50," he said before giving a thumbs up.

Josh Papalii was exhausted after that match.
He was on the ground and the camera didn't go away from him. At first it was a peace sign.

Then the camera stayed on him and Josh Addo-Carr.
Papalii took exception and pushed the camera away.

Probably fair he'd had enough after playing in that Darwin heat.
End it there
It's full time in Darwin.
Final score is 50-12.
That's the Raiders' biggest win since 2022.
That's the half-century!
The Raiders have shown they can attack tonight!
Seb Kris was the man scoring and some pretty poor defence from the Eels' right edge defence.
Ethan Strange once again broke the line and couldn't be brought down until he had to offload to Kris.
Kris couldn't be stopped and it was a four-pointer to him.
The Raiders lead 50-12.
Oh Joe!
Joseph Tapine is on fire, and that try assist is special!
He had the ball on the 30m line and then went 15 metres. Three defenders were engaged before he flicked the ball to Matty Nicholson.
That is a sensational try.
"That was brilliant, absolutely brilliant," Mick Ennis said on Fox League.
A old fashioned front-rower's showdown
Joseph Tapine and Joe Ofahengaue have come together ... sort of.
The two front-rowers were arguing in the scrum with Tapine constantly saying "what are you going to do?"
The scrum was about to be packed down before they both clashed heads. The penalty went against Tapine and he hilariously wanted to challenge it.
Andrew Voss stated Ofahengaue may have got away with an "old fashioned headbutt".
It's a contentious try!
The Raiders have a penalty try!
Josh Addo-Carr put his arm out and impeded Xavier Savage on his way there but it was unlikely he would've got there because of a bad bounce.
But alas the Bunker has ruled he would've and it's a penalty try!
"I don't disagree with that decision," Mick Ennis said on Fox League.
Andrew Voss noted Josh Addo-Carr was "stunned".
Even Xavier Savage's reaction summed it up.
"Xavier can't believe it," Voss said.

It's an unlikely try for the Raiders!
What a four-pointer that was!
Savelio Tamale broke the line on the left and then passed inside. The ball deflected off Bailey Simonsson and it was Hudson Young running through to score.
Dean Hawkins was very lucky it was a try because he grabbed at the jersey of Young.
Who knows what could happen if the Eels were down a man.
The score is 32-12.
Raiders lead extends
Jamal Fogarty kicks the two to make it 26-12 after a strip from Dylan Walker was penalised.
