The Queensland Racing Integrity Commission has opened an investigation into videos posted online allegedly showing two jockeys in the presence of white powder.

Amy Graham and Casey Waddell have been stood down from riding duties after the two short videos surfaced on social media.

A five-second video allegedly shows Graham, 28, leaning over a kitchen bench and snorting something off a plate.

A separate video allegedly shows Waddell dipping her finger into a small container and then rubbing it into her mouth.

There is no indication when or where the videos were filmed.

"I know the two people who were with me at the time and I was unaware I was being videoed," Waddell told News Corp on Monday.

"The video taken of me was done in a private setting. I had no idea I was being recorded."

Graham is yet to comment publicly.

Waddell is in Europe currently and hasn't ridden since early August. Graham was last riding in trials on the Gold Coast last week.

Queensland stewards are probing the videos.

"We are aware of the two videos that were published in the media over the weekend," chief steward Josh Adams told Racenet.

"We have taken proactive action, standing both riders down, pending a clear urine sample.

"We will be inquiring into both the videos and we'll be hoping to deal with both videos this week. We'll make sure we investigate it thoroughly."

News Corp reports Graham and Waddell previously lived together on the Gold Coast but are no longer friends, with Waddell confirming on Monday they "grew apart".

Waddell, also 28, was previously an apprentice jockey under leading Sydney trainer Chris Waller.

Graham was rocked by tragedy in 2021 when she went swimming with fellow jockey Chris Caserta at Surfers Paradise, and Caserta drowned after being caught in a rip.
