Good evening
What a day for Jamie Kah!
First, she wins The Damien Oliver riding Another Will.
Then she suffers a suspected broken nose after being struck by her horse Hurry Curry in the gates before the Wakeful Stakes. This rules her out of the race.
After being cleared to ride, the South Australian subsequently takes out the Victoria Derby with Goldrush Guru — becoming only the second woman to do so.
Then, to top off the rollercoaster day at Flemington, Kah is handed a 10-meeting ban for interference.
Oh, the highs and the lows!
Reflecting on Kah's effort in the Derby, presenter Francesca Cumani was blown away.
"We aren't going, 'It's a female jockey'," she said.
"She is a female jockey with the males. It isn't a surprise to see her winning the feature race."

Kah cops monster ban
Jamie Kah has been handed a 10-meeting ban after pleading guilty to interference during The Tab Vanity earlier today.

The Victoria Derby winner can still suit up on Cup day before her suspension takes effect. This will rule her out for both Oaks Day and Stakes Day.

Kah's promise as suspension lingers
Jamie Kah was extremely impressed with the performance of Amelia's Jewel, who was run down late by a fast-finishing Atishu in the Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes.
"I might have a suspension but if not, I'm definitely riding her again next week," the jockey told connections after a narrow loss.
Annabel Neasham was happy with her star mare in the tough field and hinted she could back up next weekend in the Champions Stakes or Champions Mile.
"Jamie said she felt real sharp ... she is a tough horse," the trainer said.

Atishu gets it done
Atishu takes out the Empire Rose Stakes by a narrow margin to Amelia's Jewel in a thrilling finish to the final Group 1 of the day.
The victory gives the McDonald and Waller combination a third win for the afternoon.
Massive roughie Socks Nation bagged third place.
Final Group 1 race approaches
Up next at Flemington will be the third and final Group 1 for the afternoon, with the running of the Empire Rose Stakes over 1600m.
Atishu will start as the betting favourite for Chris Waller and James McDonald, who are chasing their third victory for the day.
Amelia's Jewel will also be in the mix for the in-form Jamie Kah in the saddle, while Plenty Of Ammo also looms as a threat.
Kah's rollercoaster day out
The rollercoaster day for Jamie Kah has been one to remember.
The star jockey won a race in tribute to her mentor Col McKenna, before copping a whack to the face and suffering a broken nose.
Kah would then take out the Derby aboard Goldrush Guru, but it has now been revealed she has pleaded guilty to careless riding in Race 2 and will likely face a ban.
"She's absolutely riding the crest of a wave," Michelle Payne said on Nine.
"She will have to go back to the steward's room at the conclusion of today's meeting to find out what her suspension will be.
"Unfortunately, it means she will miss one of the days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
"In the moment now, she's a Penfolds Victoria Derby winner and had a great day. Such a memorable day with another winner, a special winner earlier."
