Former England player rolled over in bizarre warm-up mishap
Insane footage has emerged of former Premier League player Andros Townsend being sent sprawling on the field after being run over by a groundskeeper’s roller.
The former England international, who boasts stints at top-flight clubs like Tottenham, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Everton and Luton, was warming up for his new Thai League club, PT Prachuap during an away clash with Pattani.

Townsend has 13 England caps and made 291 Premier League career appearances in total.
Viral video posted from the warm-up shows a roller enter the pitch and plough directly into Townsend’s legs from behind.
The forward was sent tumbling underneath the machine, which rolled partially over him while his teammates watched in absolute shock.
Incredibly, Townsend emerged from the mishap completely unscathed and without any serious injury.
He went on to feature as a second-half substitute and helped his side cruise to a comfortable 3-0 victory.
PT Prachuap now move up to second on the Thai Premier League ladder.
The 35-year-old has been playing in Thailand for over a year having first joined Kanchanaburi Power last summer.
