Socceroos striker Mo Toure could miss the upcoming friendlies against Brazil after he injured his left shoulder playing for Norwich against Bolton.

Toure was replaced in the 15th minute of his side’s EFL Championship clash after scoring in the fifth minute.

The striker’s effort came from the edge of the box to put Norwich ahead before Bolton hit back immediately through Thierry Gale.

Toure has made a habit of scoring early in matches with the goal his third inside the first 10 minutes for this Championship season. He also scored an early goal in the EFL Cup first round fixture against MK Dons.

He then thought he had a second goal moments later, but it was ruled out as offside.

The 22-year-old then went off after the chaotic start, using his shirt as a makeshift sling.

His injury came in the 12th minute when he had his hands all over the back of Ben Davies before going down as he conceded a free kick.

Toure’s face showed obvious pain when he was assessed by medical staff and had to be assisted from the field.

The Socceroos’ fixtures against Brazil start on September 25, followed by another match four days later.
