David Warner backs Sam Konstas for opener's spot, delivers 'moral victory' sledge to England
David Warner was in the mood to deliver a sneaky jab at England ahead of The Ashes, saying England are "playing for a moral victory".
At the summer of cricket launch, the former Australian opener was jovial, as he discussed a number of topics to reporters, including Marnus Labuschagne's form, Sam Konstas and Australia's chances.
Late in his press conference, Warner was asked what style would win out: Bazball or the Australian way? He was sharp in response.

"The Australian way because we're playing for the Ashes and they're playing for a moral victory," he laughed.
"There's your headline."

The 38-year-old was also bullish in his prediction for the series, although a lot depends on Pat Cummins' availability.
"I think 4-0, there's going to be a washout somewhere, generally Sydney," he said.
"I think it's going to be a great series, depending on the captain, if the captain doesn't play I think they might win one game ... which one that is, I don't know."
Almost two years on since his retirement, Warner's position at the top of the order is still one the selectors are struggling to fill.
Sam Konstas is currently in that spot based off the last Test, but he has a very slim hold on it.

If Labuschagne was to return, Warner doesn't believe it should be against the new ball.
"I wouldn't like to see him open, I'd like to see him shuffle back down to three and then that just opens up who else goes where?," he said.
"That's the tough decision the Australian selectors are going to have to do."
Warner's suggestion is part of the problem for Australia. Cam Green and Steve Smith will likely take up the No.3 and No.4 spots, leaving only room for Labuschagne at the top.
However, Warner wants to see Konstas return.
"He scored that hundred in the Australia A series, I thought he batted outstanding there," he said.
"I don't think we've seen exactly what we know Sam Konstas can do. I think last year ... he probably got overwhelmed by the occasion and we saw some very highlighted cricket but I've seen him build innings', I've seen him play some fantastic innings' and I'd like to see him go back to just doing that.
"They don't have a Jasprit Bumrah, so he doesn't have to worry about that. They've got some fast bowlers but he can tackle that, I'd like them to stick with Sam and give him a crack."
