Pakistani opener out of hospital after being hit by bouncer
Pakistani women’s opener Javeria Khan attempted to hook the bumper from Shamilia Connell but misjudged the delivery.
The ball initially struck her on the thumb but reports are conflicting as to whether the ball went on to strike her below the ear or on the jaw.
Khan collapsed to the ground with her batting partner immediately signalling for assistance.
The concern from everyone involved was immediately apparent.
