Nathan Lyon calls for 'behind closed doors' process to Matt Kuhnemann's bowling action testing
Nathan Lyon has given an insight into Matt Kuhnemann's reaction after he was reported for a suspect bowling action.
Kuhnemann had to undergo rigorous testing after Australia's tour of Sri Lanka but was cleared.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Lyon revealed Kuhnemann was "shattered" when the report had been made. The off-spinner also believes the process should've been "behind closed doors".

"I'm not sure what the actual process was with the match referees and the officials. It would've been nice if it was kept under wraps and they could've gone through the process behind closed doors," Lyon said.
"I was pretty heartbroken, in a sense, I actually flew home with him and he was pretty gutted when he was talking to me about what he had to do. He was pretty nervous.
"For him to have his name cleared, I couldn't be prouder."

After Kuhnemann was cleared, The Age revealed change could be made to how information is disseminated about testing bowling actions.
The left-armer was publicly named and shamed after the umpire's report, but keeping the process confidential could be a way forward in the future.
Joel Wilson, the umpire who cited Kuhnemann, has since been dumped from the ICC's elite panel.
