A review off the bowling of Jamal.

It comes off a big appeal after he trapped Marnus Labuschagne on the pads.

A good decision by Joel Wilson though with the delivery missing the stumps.

Australia vs Pakistan LIVE: NO BALL

Travis Head gets a very unwelcome greeting to the crease for his third ball with a massive full toss going straight at his head from Shaheen Afridi.

Head accepts the bowler's apology.

Then the next delivery almost cuts him in half.

"I don't know how that's missed the top of off stump," Michael Hussey said of the second delivery on Fox Cricket.

Cricket's a funny game.

Steve Smith plays at a Jamal delivery and there's an appeal for caught behind.

Not out the umpire says so Shan Masood sends it upstairs.

Steve Smith looks very sheepish as the review process continues.

There's a slight mark on hot spot and a little spike with snicko.

Steve Smith is out!

"That's just what Pakistan needed," Michael Hussey said on Fox Cricket.

Steve Smith has been given out lbw and he's reviewed straight away!

The Shaheen Afridi delivery pitches in line, impacts in line but it's too high!

Michael Gough has to reverse his decision.

A bit unlucky for Afridi, he's toiled hard all day!

Australia vs Pakistan LIVE: Concern over Marnus

Lachlan Harper

There's been a lot of leaving from Marnus Labuschagne outside off stump and currently he's 21 off 80 balls.

England legend Michael Vaughan believes he has a mindset problem.

"I just watch Marnus at the minute, I watched him at the Ashes in the UK, to me he's just trying to survive those channel of deliveries," he said on Fox Cricket.

"... at the minute I get a sense with Marnus that he's just about survival ... when you enjoy batting the most is when you're out there scoring runs."

A statistic provided by Fox Cricket proved Vaughan's point to an extent.

In 2018-22 he averaged 64.7 in the channel outside off stump and in 2023 he averages 17.4.

"In 2023 you can't tell me pitches have done so much more in the last 12 months," Vaughan added.

"He's really struggled."

Australia vs Pakistan LIVE: Bit of a shocker

Lachlan Harper

There shouldn't be much fatigue after a long delay but it appears Aamer Jamal might be struggling for rhythm after this shocker wide in his eighth over.

Might just be trying too hard.
