Scott Boland cops unlucky fate with Josh Hazlewood returning to the Australian side for Gabba Test

Australia has made a call on Josh Hazlewood's fitness with the fast bowler returning for the Gabba Test against India in place of Scott Boland, captain Pat Cummins has confirmed.
Hazlewood was out for the Adelaide match due to a side strain issue but proved he was back to full fitness after a practice session at Allan Border Field on Thursday.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Cummins anticipated Boland hasn't played his last match of the series.

"It's tough, he was fantastic in Adelaide and he's unfortunately spent a bit of time on the bench over the last 18 months and whenever he plays he's fantastic," he said.
"It's a shame for Scotty but there's still a fair bit to play out this series so I'll be surprised if he doesn't get another crack."
The speculation around Hazlewood's fitness ramped up this week when he was whisked away with Mitchell Starc in a black van.
Clarity around this situation was provided when it was explained that Allan Border Field provided Hazlewood the chance to practice off a full run up.
Cummins confirmed there'd been "no hiccups" when it comes to his fellow paceman.
"He had a really good bowl yesterday, had another bowl in Adelaide a couple days previous. Him and the medical team are super confident," he said.
