Mike Tyson revealed he can't remember his fight against Jake Paul, saying the he "blacked out" during the bout which aired on Netflix.

The 58-year-old Tyson made a reported $A31 million in last month's lacklustre bout against the 27-year-old Paul in front of more than 70,000 fans at the home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.

Paul won an eight-round unanimous decision as Tyson landed just 18 punches, with the bout drawing criticism from fans.

"I don't remember the fight that much, I kind of blanked out a little," he told Fox Sports Radio.

"I remember coming back from the first round and Jake is doing some kind of… I don't know what he was doing [leans forward pretending to bow] and that's the last thing I remember."

When asked about Paul's punching power, Tyson said: "I don't remember it. But my body was really sore [after the fight]. My chest, my stomach was really sore."

Posting on X, after the fight he wrote: "This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I'm grateful for last night. No regrets to get in the ring one last time.

"I almost died in June. Had eight blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight, so I won.

"To have my children see me stand toe-to-toe and finish eight rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you."
