Paul Gallen declares Sonny Bill Williams is 'going to pay' as fight days away from confirmation
The suspense is over.
Paul Gallen has confirmed his fight with Sonny Bill Williams is just days away from being announced after the former Sharks captain agreed to a demand from his rival.
Gallen originally wanted three-minute rounds but has had to relent and agree to two minutes, declaring "he's going to pay".

"I've given in. He won't do three-minute rounds, he's stuck on two-minute rounds and we've been arguing for three or four months," he said on Nine's 100% Footy.
"I've relented, three minutes, two minutes, he's going to pay."

Gallen then confirmed the fight is likely to happen after State of Origin this year.
"It hasn't been confirmed yet, I'll sign the contract tomorrow or the next day, it's with the lawyers at the moment but we'll get it done this week."
In early April, Gallen had previously stated he'd called Williams' bluff over the round debacle, questioning whether his rival wanted to fight.

"I've actually agreed to the two-minute rounds now just to prove the fact that (Williams) won't do it," Gallen said on 2GB's The Continuous Call Team.
"Have I got a reply (after agreeing to the rounds)? No, so there we go.
"I don't think he wants to do it, so I've called his bluff."
Gallen has made millions from his 18 professional fights and holds a 15-2-1 record in the ring, including some fights against bona fide high-profile fighters.
Williams' boxing career is much more underwhelming, although he has maintained impressive fitness since his football retirement.
