We love Sam Pang, but jokes about how long left to go in the Brownlow don’t quite hit when you’re making them during a superfluous segment artificially extending the length of the Brownlow Medal.
The AFL want to reduce the length of games ... they should be looking into the length of this night.

Daicos projected four double-digit win
As we stand at round 15, Nick Daicos is projected to win the Brownlow Medal by 11 votes.
Currently, he is only three clear of Marcus Bontempelli and Bailey Smith, but he will poll better than anyone from here and fly home.
Every chance he breaks the all-time record of 45 votes held by Carlton captain Patrick Cripps.
Heeney won’t win - AFL can breathe a bit easier
Isaac Heeney is polling well and sits equal fourth, but certainly won’t poll well enough to out-pace Nick Daicos from here.
So at the very least, the league’s worst case scenario is not going to happen.
Sydney CEO Matthew Pavlich was slated to accept the award had Heeney won.

Zak Butters dominating early
Soon-to-be Western Bulldogs star Zak Butters had a brief moment on top of the leaderboard with 17 votes.
If he had played the full season, he might be a shot to push Nick Daicos to the line, but he misses the last third of the season with injury, unfortunately.
